“The details are not the details. They make the design.”
Growing up in a small apartment with an artist as a father, my mum was always trying to make our home look bigger while making my dad's art stand out. So everything was white from the floors to the bedcovers! When I left for university and was finally able to use colour in my room, I was so happy. Neutrals can be truly wonderful but bringing colour into your home can be both calming and invigorating. Many people opt for neutrals out of ease and simplicity because they wouldn't know where to begin when it comes to colour. If you don't want to paint your walls, sometimes just a brightly coloured sofa can do the trick and transform a space to make it your happy place. Other times, it could be a fantastic abstract on your white wall. There are so many ways to bring a personal touch to your interior. But in the end, the most important thing to remember is that it should make you happy. Whether it's your grandfather's old clock, an upcycled table or a beautiful lamp you saw at your neighbourhoods' interiors store, there are so many ways to make your interior unique. Just push away fear and let's give it a try. You truly have nothing to lose!
“My husband and I were so lucky that Tala was available for a maternity session during our brief trip to Paris. Her work is beautiful, and we couldn't be happier with how our photos turned out. Tala helped us feel comfortable and really have fun with the shoot. She really captured so much.
Communication was effortless, and she had a great itinerary planned for us. Now we'll have these beautiful photos to remember the wonderful time we had in Paris for our Babymoon. Thank you so much, Tala!!!”
